NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2015

John Swett Unified School District Initial (Sunshine) Proposal Pursuant to Government Code Section 3547 to the John Swett Education Association (JSEA)

A public hearing will be held on February 11, 2015 at the John Swett Unified School District, 400 Parker Avenue, Rodeo, CA, at 6:30 PM to present the District’s initial (Sunshine) proposal to the John Swett Education Association (JSEA). 

 

PROCEDURES TO BE USED IN THE CONDUCT OF REGULAR BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETINGS:

  1. AGENDIZED ITEMS:  Any member of the audience who would like an opportunity to speak before the Board of Education during the discussion period of an agendized action item, may do so by submitting a "Request to Speak at Board of Education Meeting" form located on the table in the back of the Auditorium.  The Board President will recognize only those speakers who have submitted a “Request to Speak” form.  Time allowed for each individual is three minutes.  The Board shall limit the total time for public input on each item to 20 minutes. Any disclosable public records related to an open session item on a regular meeting agenda and distributed by the John Swett Unified School District to a majority of members of the Board of Education less than 72 hours prior to that meeting are available for public inspection at 400 Parker Avenue, Rodeo, CA during normal business hours.
  2. PUBLIC COMMENT:  During "Public Comment” period any member of the community may make suggestions, comments, or express concerns about any non-personnel item that is not on the agenda.  Time allowed for each individual is three minutes. The Board shall limit the total time for public input on each item to 20 minutes. The Board President will recognize only those speakers who have submitted a "Request to Speak at Board of Education Meeting" form.  In accordance with provisions of the Brown Act, the Board may refer to the Administration any matters that are brought before them at this time, or the matter may be placed on a future agenda.  Personnel-related concerns shall be presented to the Superintendent in writing.
  3. SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS:  In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, if you require special  accommodations to participate in the Board meeting, please contact the Office of the Superintendent in writing at the address above within a reasonable time prior to the meeting.
